<VIBE LIFE> operates the MUDIX brand services and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect personal information and handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
<VIBE LIFE> processes the following personal information files as registered and disclosed under Article 32 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

- Purpose of processing: Providing app services
- Collection method: Mobile application
- Basis for retention: Application DB
- Retention period: 3 years
- Related laws: Records on collection/processing/use of credit information: 3 years; Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
1) <VIBE LIFE> processes the following items of personal information.
- Required: Email, password, service usage records, access logs, cookies, IP address
- Optional: None
Article 3 (Procedure and Method of Destruction of Personal Information)
1) <VIBE LIFE> will destroy personal information without delay when the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is achieved.
2) If personal information must be retained in accordance with applicable laws even after the retention period expires or the purpose is achieved, the information will be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different location.

- Items retained: Account information, transaction date
3) Destruction procedure and method are as follows.
- Procedure: <VIBE LIFE> selects personal information to be destroyed and destroys it after approval by the personal information protection officer.
- Method: Electronic files are destroyed using technical methods that make recovery impossible.
Article 4 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives)
1) Data subjects may exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing at any time.
2) Requests may be made in writing, by email, or by fax in accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act. <VIBE LIFE> will take action without delay.
3) Rights may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In this case, a power of attorney in the form prescribed by the "Public Notice on Personal Information Processing Methods (No. 2020-7)" is required.
4) Requests for access or suspension may be restricted under Article 35(4) and Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
5) Requests for correction or deletion may be denied if the information is required to be collected by other laws.
6) <VIBE LIFE> will verify identity or authority when handling requests.
Article 5 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
<VIBE LIFE> takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.
- Regular internal audits (quarterly)
- Minimizing staff with access to personal information and providing training
- Technical measures against hacking and malware (security programs, periodic updates and checks, controlled access)
- Access controls to personal information (granting/revoking permissions, intrusion prevention)
- Physical access controls for storage locations
Article 6 (Cookies and Refusal of Collection)
1) <VIBE LIFE> uses cookies to provide customized services by storing and retrieving usage information.
2) Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (HTTP) to the user's browser and may be stored on the user's device.
- Purpose: Analyze visit and usage patterns, popular search terms, and secure access status to provide optimized information.
- Refusal: Users may refuse cookie storage via browser settings (Tools > Internet Options > Privacy).
- If cookies are refused, customized services may be limited.
Article 6-1 (Data Privacy and User Protection)
Smart homes are closely tied to private spaces. VIBE LIFE complies with local data protection laws and guidelines and applies standards to protect users' safety and privacy when third-party integrations are involved.
Our personal data processing and integrations comply with the following standards.
- Provide a mechanism for users to delete their data.
- If personal data is transmitted outside the SmartThings Cloud, the privacy policy is displayed during registration or linking.
- Do not access, collect, use, transmit, or share user data without explicit consent as required by law.
- Request only the minimum permissions and personal data necessary to support features.
The privacy policy also includes the following items in an easy-to-understand format.
- Collected user data items and types
- Purposes of using user data
- List of third parties with which user data is shared and shared data types
- User data items and data types shared with third parties
- User data retention period and deletion criteria (e.g., account deletion or unlinking)
- Method of notifying users when the privacy policy is revised (website notice: mudix.co.kr)
- User data-related rights that can be requested (access, correction, deletion, etc.)
Data deletion requests can be made via the privacy officer/contact channels.
Data obtained through Google Home integrations is not used for AI model training or similar purposes.
Article 6-2 (Third-Party Sharing)
VIBE LIFE may share data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary for smart home integrations. No sharing occurs beyond the parties listed below.

This Privacy Policy is effective from January 1, 2023, and any subsequent changes are reflected in the revision history below.
